- Prospecting: Identify, secure, and develop new customers through consultative selling of solutions. Develop accurate proposals and close deals by actively asking for business.
- Business Retention: Maintain existing business using Berlin's sales tools and resources.
- Account Development: Grow existing customer accounts and maximize sales and profitability with new and existing products.
- Project Management: Collaborate with sales resources and service divisions to complete complex sales transactions.
- Relationship Building: Develop effective relationships with customers and suppliers, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
- Utilize Systems: Use Salesforce, marketing tools, and other systems effectively to secure business.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction and support branch metrics.
- Company Values: Uphold and promote Berlin's values within your work.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years in consultative B2B sales, managing complex projects and relationships that result in revenue growth.
- Customer-focused with strong attention to detail and a merchant mentality.
- Strong business acumen and a desire for continuous learning.
- Ability to articulate Berlin Packaging's value proposition, products, and services.
- Effective partnership with internal teams and proficiency with sales tools to develop and retain accounts.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated, creative, passionate, and competitive.
- High sense of urgency, strong time management, and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce CRM preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed.

We are seeking a Packaging Consultant to join our team and help us sustain our record growth. This role focuses on maximizing sales and profitability through prospecting, business retention, and account development.
