What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Acquire new clients by prospecting and developing leads through cold calling and referrals
- Understand customer objectives and prepare tailored plans to meet their needs
- Implement strategies to maintain and expand sales within an assigned territory
- Serve as a point of escalation for customer issues, ensuring professional resolution
- Maintain accurate client data and provide reports on sales activity and forecasts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of five (5) years of related professional work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working in K-12 school districts or school administration
- Knowledge of the K-12 education industry and education technology
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Sales experience with a proven track record of meeting sales goals
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management applications, such as Salesforce
- Advanced Excel skills for reporting and data analysis
- Strong presentation skills and ability to mentor junior sales professionals
