What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Generate advertising revenue by reaching out to established agencies and cold-calling new prospects
- Establish credible relationships within the local business community
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to clients
- Develop advertising schedules and work with clients to create effective advertisements
- Maintain and grow assigned accounts while developing new client relationships
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of one year of sales experience, preferably in the media field
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Proven ability to achieve long-range objectives and implement strategies
- Proficiency with computers and general office equipment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in media sales or advertising
- Strong understanding of advertising strategies and market trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
