What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement strategies to increase test utilization and effectively present the value of testing to key stakeholders
- Grow oncology and special protein market share by converting competitors and managing customer instrument demonstrations
- Direct customer contract renewals, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for new product implementations and instrument go-lives
- Conduct regular Customer Business Reviews to identify growth opportunities and optimize clinical and laboratory utilization
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Life Sciences or Business
- Minimum of three years of sales experience in Laboratory, Medical Device, or Diagnostics Sales, or 1 year in a technical support role with 2 years in sales
- Capital Sales experience strongly preferred
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Strong strategic selling and complex selling skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in technical support within medical and diagnostic sales
- Knowledge of oncology and special protein products
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com for monitoring sales activity and account management
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to educate clinicians on clinical insights derived from testing
