- Primary client contact person for assigned portfolio of accounts. Responsible for regular face to face client interaction and proactive resolution of any operational issues at assigned client locations. Maintain ongoing and proactive client contact, including site visits, meeting attendance, timely response and follow-up, phone calls, lunches and other special events.
- Responsible for staffing and scheduling for all security officers within your assigned portfolio of client sites. Partnering with your location’s assigned recruiter, conduct interviews and hire qualified applicants to fill open positions at your client’s sites.
- Once new hire has been processed through HR, you will schedule an expectations one-on-one meeting to sit with your officer and go over their site duties, address, schedule, how to clock in and out, responsibilities about not leaving site unmanned, your expectations, etc.
- Create, modify, and manage post schedules in WinTeam to ensure adequate coverage at all your client’s sites at all times. Ensuring that schedules are properly maintained and updated regularly. Ensuring all posts are staffed at all times according to contract requirements.
- Manage overtime by effectively scheduling, hiring, and approving or denying time off requests ahead of time based on the overtime it will cause. Completing schedules by the deadline each week, 12 noon on Wednesday, and publish them in WinTeam to ensure your officers know what they are scheduled to work.
- Responsible for maintaining regular communications with your security officers through site visits and weekly phone calls, resolving officer issues regarding pay, concerns, and/or complaints.
- Promptly take action to handle all complaints received regarding your employee’s performance or conduct.
- Performs admin duties for your portfolio of sites and officers. This includes, but is not limited to, completing payroll status change forms and termination form within 24 hours and sending them to HR and payroll, reviewing and approving or denying officers leave requests within 48 hours of receiving them and turning in all approved paid leave requests to payroll immediately upon approving them, documenting officers approved time off in their time off planner and absences tracker in WinTeam, reviewing dispatchers’ logs and making sure all notes are in your officers’ absence tracker in WinTeam, running Team Time report and making any necessary changes to your officers’ posts as to not cause payroll issues and/or billing issues for your clients and officers.
- Ensure all post requirements are current and complete at assigned portfolio, including current post orders, DCJS training compliance, staff training, vehicle policy compliance, uniform and appearance standards being met, and other staff and client relations policies being administered per company standards. Work with the Training Manager to ensure all Post Orders are current and up to date, and the DCJS compliance coordinator to ensure your officers stay in compliance at all times.
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of professional-level experience required, managing non-exempt employees in a fast-paced, service organization. Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement, military and/or customer service highly desired.
- Experience in scheduling, operations and/or employee management in a service-related industry a plus.
- Must be able to maintain a valid Department of Criminal Justice Service (DCJS) Guard License.
- Must have a current state driver’s license and have the ability to safely operate a vehicle
- Ability to write effective and concise reports and document investigations and counseling sessions. Must be able to effectively communicate coaching, counseling and disciplinary actions, as well as termination meetings in a professional manner in accordance with company standards.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office software mandatory. Ability to learn and efficiently operate various timekeeping and payroll programs, as WinTeam, eHub and CompleteReport
