      Overview

      As the Account Manager in the Loan Agency Services Team, you will provide loan agency services on a diverse portfolio of syndicated loan project finance/structured finance transactions including asset / project financings construction bridges, syndicated loans, international cross-border financings, and broadly syndicated bank loans, export credits in the energy, infrastructure, oil & gas, and telecom sectors. Our team acts in a ‘middle-office’ capacity servicing as private label administrative agent, named facility/administrative agent and collateral agent on a wide portfolio of deals, originated both by Deutsche Bank and third-party institutions. Our unique support provides clients with scalability and flexibility to support their business as they leverage our experience in loan syndication and loan technology.

      What You’ll Do

      • Manage a wide range of loan transactions for international and domestic clients, varying in complexity. This will require extensive use of the Loan IQ platform. Roles include account bank, collateral agent, administrative agent, trustee, and intercreditor agent

      • Monitor daily workflow including clients scheduled activity and emails to ensure that all transactions and responses are completed within the appropriate timeframes

      • Identify, receive, transfer, invest and disburse trust and agency funds pursuant to the terms of the legal contracts (investment using internal and external investment firms, money movement via Fed Wires, Swift and ACH; approval of payments). Monitor transactions to verify borrower compliance with governing documents including provisions related to budget, base case, insurance, security arrangements, Events of Default, and reporting requirements

      • Review and approve disbursement requests, monitor draw procedures, manage flow of funds mechanics and internal loan administration. Responsible for processing amendments, waivers, and consents requests. Manage day-to-day borrower, customer and lender queries relating to loan positions, interest, fees, accruals, payments, and trading to ensure satisfactory resolution. Manage all interactions between borrowers, lenders, independent engineers, legal counsels, and internal units

      • Work with Transaction Management Group to ensure that all new transaction documents are finalized to clearly reflect Project Finance Agency Services team’s roles and duties

      • Prepare periodic administrative reviews of entire portfolio. Manage portfolio in compliance with operational policies, procedures, and metrics. Participate in workout or restructuring situations

      Skills You’ll Need

      • Strong knowledge of syndicated loans, administrative agency procedure and Loan IQ platform

      • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics combined with proficient finance industry experience

      • Awareness of risk controls

      • Ability to read and understand credit agreements

      Skills That Will Help You Excel

      • Excellent computer skills to include experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

      • Ability to work independently and handle heavy volume within deadlines

      • Effective decision-making skills and ability to meet strict deadlines

      Expectations

      It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

      The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $50K to $90K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
