What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the accounting books across fiat and cryptocurrency, overseeing full cycles from wallet/exchange to ledger to reporting
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to create reliable systems for accounting workflows and controls
- Maintain accurate reconciliations, ledgers, and documentation to ensure audit readiness
- Automate repetitive tasks using integrations, smart tools, or lightweight scripting to enhance efficiency
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, driving improvements to accounting processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial operations
- Formal accounting training (CPA track or equivalent) with a strong foundation in accounting principles
- Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
- High digital fluency, particularly with AI-driven workflows and modern analytics tools
- Detail-oriented with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working at a Big 4 firm, dealing with complex financials and strict timelines
- Familiarity with crypto accounting or digital asset workflows
- Background in lean teams or startup environments emphasizing speed and adaptability
- Experience in contributing to or building custom financial software
