Job Description

- Provides accounting support to major financial accounting areas including general accounting, account reconciliation and close, regulatory reporting and cash management.
- Compiles data and prepares a variety of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as needed.
- Verifies the accuracy of reports and other accounting documents from various sources.
- Updates and maintains accounting journals, ledgers, and other records detailing financial business transactions.
- Reads and interprets various documents taking appropriate follow-up action.
- May assist in monthly closing process.

Summary
Flexibile work environment | Can be remote after training
Responsibilities may include performing daily and end of month cash reconciliations for multiple local affiliates. Compiles, maintains and reviews accounting information from various sources. Completes monthly, quarterly and annual reports related to cash reconciliation variances as needed. Assists Accounting Manager and Accountants as necessary.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
Experience
1-2 years of Accounting experience is preferred.
1-2 years of healthcare experience is preferred.
Bachelors degree preferred.
