What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process vendor invoices and payments accurately and timely in accordance with company policies
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliation of accounts payable
- Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or payment issues
- Maintain vendor files and ensure accurate documentation
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable, invoice processing, or general accounting
- Strong attention to detail and excellent 10-Key skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Two-year degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or related discipline
- Experience with Microsoft Great Plains or similar ERP systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to negotiate and resolve disputes with customers
- Familiarity with General Ledger and Journal Entry processes
