What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Enter vendor invoices into the Accounts Payable system, ensuring accuracy in all required fields
- Review employee expense reimbursements and credit card transactions for proper documentation
- Monitor invoice approval queues and follow up with approvers to ensure timely processing
- Initiate payments to vendors and employees as instructed
- Assist with the annual preparation and filing of 1099s and oversee multiple systems administration
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two years of professional-level experience in a directly related role
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a not-for-profit accounting environment
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct, Bill.com, and Sage Expense Management/Fyle
