What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
- Develop and maintain accounts payable policies, procedures, and process documentation
- Manage the annual process for issuing 1099 tax forms and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations and preparing reports
- Supervise staff within the accounts payable function and provide audit support for internal and external requests
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree required; equivalent experience accepted
- 2-5 years of experience in an accounting or finance department
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Concur Invoice and Concur Expense
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines
