What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate three-way matching with purchase orders and receiving reports
- Ensure timely payments to suppliers and reconcile vendor accounts while resolving discrepancies
- Allocate costs accurately to departments, projects, or cost centers for financial reporting
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs, including ACH, wire transfers, and checks
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment statuses and assist in resolving outstanding invoices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable or related accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of ERP systems, including Microsoft Office and various accounting software
- Ability to analyze financial transactions and resolve discrepancies accurately
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with OneStream or similar financial reporting tools
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools
- Knowledge of Concur or similar travel expense reporting tools
- Understanding of production cycles, inventory management, and procurement best practices
