      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform claim scrubs for clean claim submission and work on appeals/denials
      - Accurately code and submit claims for services provided by physicians and mid-level providers
      - Review and analyze patient records to determine appropriate coding and billable services
      - Communicate and collaborate with billing companies, hospitals, and insurance payers as needed
      - Maintain compliance with CMS and other payer guidelines in coding and billing

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED required
      - CPC certification required
      - 3-4 years of coding and/or medical office and billing experience
      - Proficiency in EMR software and multiple Microsoft Office applications
      - Advanced knowledge in E&M and procedural coding preferred, along with specialty clinical experience in gastroenterology

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in a high-volume medical office setting
      - Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain composure under pressure
      - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
      - Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality practices
      - Ability to interpret and apply clinical and non-clinical policies and procedures
