What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop documentation for NAVSEA acquisition planning efforts related to maintenance and modernization of non-nuclear surface ships
- Track and coordinate the writing and approval of acquisition documents, including acquisition plans and solicitations
- Conduct financial trend analysis and maintain acquisition tracking records
- Provide support for upper management in acquisition planning and contract development
- Prepare documentation, reports, and briefings to communicate project activities and statuses
What is Required (Qualifications):
- An active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline plus 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in a government administrative or contracting environment
- Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Strong attention to detail and superior writing and presentation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong knowledge of government contracting environments
- Experience with the defense acquisition process
- Data collection experience is strongly desired
