What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Compile, develop, analyze, and maintain data for forecasting, rate development, and budgeting
- Provide actuarial support for new product development and assist underwriting with rating non-standard benefits
- Communicate information regarding claims liabilities, group experience, and fee analysis to internal and external customers
- Assist sales and group administration in responding to major bids and proposals
- Complete specialized projects and assignments as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or statistics
- Successful completion of one actuarial exam
- Minimum of two years of actuarial or underwriting experience, including analysis and reporting
- Programming exposure/experience and a desire to attain ASA credential
- Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office applications
