What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Interact directly with students to support and enhance their learning experience
- Facilitate a safe and productive learning environment while monitoring student progress
- Provide timely feedback on assignments and synthesize student performance data
- Support departmental and institutional policies while promoting the college's mission and culture
- Engage in professional development activities to maintain expertise in the field and improve course offerings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Earned a terminal degree in Leadership, Higher Education, Research, or Community College
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching and leadership experience in a formal educational setting, preferably in higher education
- Proven ability to develop online and virtual professional relationships
- Demonstrated experience in professional research or creative endeavors related to the field
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in both traditional and non-traditional teaching formats
- Familiarity with online educational platforms and tools
- Active participation in professional societies or networks within the education sector
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
