What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach SPAC 330 - Spaceflight and Operations Training to students
- Introduce topics such as astronaut and cosmonaut selection and training
- Examine current selection techniques and training programs for spaceflight
- Analyze training center facilities and techniques used for International Space Station crews
- Evaluate commercial training programs in place and planned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Applicable professional certification as a rated/certified military operations officer or civil equivalent for Space Operations
- Experience in training development or training course management
- Specific professional experience related to Space Operations or Aeronautical training programs
- Documented experience in the teaching discipline or related fields
- Ability to provide proof of qualifications, including official transcripts and professional licenses
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degrees in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Aeronautics, Aviation, Aerospace Science and Technology, or Space Operations
- Experience in research and scholarship related to the field
- Additional certifications or licensure in operational training programs
