What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach assigned courses and evaluate student learning outcomes
- Develop lesson plans, course outlines, and syllabi in accordance with program objectives
- Maintain accurate student records and complete required course documentation
- Participate in advising, orientation, and registration activities for students
- Engage in scholarly activities and service projects that enhance teaching effectiveness
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a master's degree in a relevant field or 18 graduate credits in a related discipline
- At least one year of full-time teaching experience or equivalent as an adjunct instructor
- Strong background in pedagogy and technology, with excellent organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to student engagement
- Ability to work independently and meet established goals and deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) or conversational language abilities
- Higher education teaching experience preferred
- Experience in curriculum development and assessment activities
