What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach 1-2 graduate research courses per year and/or serve on dissertation or thesis committees as a research methodologist
- Participate in curriculum development and advise graduate students
- Manage class syllabi to ensure instruction of identified course learning outcomes
- Plan and create lectures, learning materials, and assignments while grading coursework
- Provide constructive feedback, guidance, and oversight of student research
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Primary U.S. residency
- Doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution in research, psychology, or integrative medicine
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and teaching graduate-level research courses and mentoring students on dissertations
- Knowledge of online higher education and research/IRB administration best practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience using Learning Management Systems, preferably Canvas
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Minimum of two years of online doctoral-level experience as a dissertation chairperson
- Established record of completed (published) dissertations serving as Chair
- Expertise in one or more specific research methods such as Action Research, Case Study, or Mixed Methods Research
- Active researcher with a strong publication record
- Experience teaching graduate-level research courses in online formats
