      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Maintain accurate and organized files, both paper and electronic, using the City's electronic file storage system
      - Update data in the Real Estate Division's assessment software systems based on approved changes
      - Process daily mail, flag critical correspondence, and respond to common inquiries
      - Produce correspondence related to changes in property assessments for residents and businesses
      - Assist the public with inquiries regarding assessed property values through various communication channels

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Completion of college-level courses in English, report writing, arithmetic, and bookkeeping
      - At least three years of experience in responsible clerical or technical work, equivalent to Administrative Support IV (GS-10)
      - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
      - Ability to provide high-quality customer service and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
      - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with high-volume, accurate data entry and managing complex computer systems
      - Familiarity with transitioning filing systems from paper to electronic formats
      - Knowledge of office management procedures and office equipment
      - Ability to interpret and make decisions in accordance with relevant codes, laws, and procedures
      - Experience performing mail merges and producing reports
