What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate activities of Education Volunteers and facility field trips, including program planning and implementation
- Manage and track hours, correspondence, purchase orders, invoices, and payments related to volunteers and programs
- Provide training and support for on-site tours
- Perform various complex administrative tasks for program managers, including research and budget preparation
- Prepare documentation and represent the administrator at meetings and workshops
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a BA in Education, History, Public History, Museum Studies, or related field, or 3 years of relevant experience
- Ability to obtain a valid Arizona State driver's license
- Knowledge of agency or program rules, regulations, and accounting procedures
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to plan, analyze, coordinate activities, and establish priorities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in educational settings or with K-12 educational guidelines
- Familiarity with museum operations or public history initiatives
