Supports operations of the athletics department, performs duties for the AD related to the operation of the Athletics Department, the NCAA, & the PBC. Provides administrative support to the Athletics Director & entire Athletics department by assisting with procedures, policies, inquiries, and paperwork. Responsibilities include but are not limited to - oversee game day preparations & operations(student worker scheduling, door/gate schedules, ticket sales & reconciliation, etc) - Ensure accurate financial & budget tracking & documentation, travel documentation, purchasing paperwork - Serve as a liaison between campus departments - Answering phones & other clerical duties.
A high school diploma and a minimum of two years' administrative support experience required. A bachelors degree could be substituted in lieu of experience. A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics.
Knowledge of administrative operations, processes, techniques and procedures. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to deal effectively and courteously with internal and external contacts. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions. Must have a working knowledge of accounting principles and record keeping systems. Must be proficient in word, excel, and adobe. Must have ability to perform basic mathematical computations
