      Performs a variety of administrative functions including scheduling appointments, gives information to callers, and takes dictation, composes memos, transcribes notes, and researches and creates presentations. Generates reports, handles multiple projects, and prepares and monitors invoices and expense reports. May assist with compiling and developing the annual budget.

      • Collects, compiles, and analyzes moderately complex data and information.
      • Composes straightforward written descriptions of results.
      • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment in a confident, professional manner
      • Proficient in multi-tasking, problem-solving, prioritizing.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills working with individuals within a diverse community.

      • Outstanding customer service skills

      • Attention to detail.

      • Some travel required.

      • Provides support needed to Southside Medical Group Administration among other teams within the Richmond market.

      Education/Experience

      • High School Diploma or GED Required
      • 2 Year/ Associates Degree preferred
      • Minimum of 4 years experience in providing administrative/clerical assistance.
      • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
      • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in healthcare. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under general supervision.
