- Strong interest in nonpartisan public service;
- Ability to accurately type and enter data, proofread typed material, recognize errors and make corrections, and to organize materials as directed;

- Willingness to acquire knowledge of LSC’s resolution services and agency-specific practices and procedures (developed after employment).

- OPERS is the retirement system for State of Ohio employees. The employee contributes 10% of their salary towards their retirement. The employer contributes an amount equal to 14% of the employee’s salary.

- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Proficiency with word processing, particularly with Microsoft Word, including rapid and accurate typing skills;
- Excellent grammar, punctuation, spelling, and proofreading skills;
- Problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work overtime, scheduled and unscheduled, occasionally on short notice;
- Strong attendance record;
- Willingness to limit public political activity to not give any appearance of bias in work (due to the agency’s nonpartisan status).
