      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Process purchases of capital and sensitive assets using the state's Edison PeopleSoft system
      - Enter and manage assets in the agency's Smart Simple asset database
      - Conduct surplusing of state assets in collaboration with the Department of General Services
      - Assist in statewide on-site asset audits to ensure compliance and accuracy
      - Provide training to staff on asset policies, rules, and laws

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Proven experience performing a variety of administrative functions
      - Competent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office 365 applications, including SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
      - Strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments daily
      - Comfort working with diverse teams and individuals
      - Effective communication and organizational skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in asset management or procurement processes
      - Familiarity with state policies and regulations regarding asset management
      - Previous training experience for staff on relevant policies and procedures
