      Duties and responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant II:

      • Provide administrative support to the Governor’s Office front desk and greet and assist constituents, agency staff, stakeholders, legislators, and other key state officials.
      • Receptionist duties including answering inquiries and obtaining information for general public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties. Incumbent provides information regarding activities conducted at establishment: location of departments, offices, and employees within organization
      • Assists in scheduling appointments, provides information, or forward calls as appropriate to Plaza Staff.
      • Records, compiles, enters, and retrieves information, as requested by senior staff.
      • Collects and distributes messages for employees of organization.
      • Files and maintains records.
      • Communicates with persons outside the organization, represents the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources. This information can be exchanged face-to-face, in writing, or via telephone/electronic transfer.
      • Observes, receives, and otherwise obtains information from all relevant sources, as needed.
      • Must posses knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
