      How you will help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities):

      This individual will report to the Managing Director, Operations Strategy - In-Flight Service and will be expected to perform advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative duties for two Managing Directors and their direct reports.
      The Administrative Assistant (AA) to MD - In-Flight Service will interact with individuals inside and outside the company with a high degree of professionalism and business presence. The candidate must be resourceful, efficient, and demonstrate an energetic "can-do" approach to this position's responsibilities.

      Key Responsibilities:
      • Consistently make safety and security, of self and others, the priority.
      • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and diplomacy.
      • Creates, manages, and supports multiple schedules, meetings, and travel itineraries; ensure alignment of IFS (In-Flight Service) events via partnership with other administrative assistants and key stakeholders.
      • Acts as an information source on policies, procedures, processes, and practices
      • Office organization/filing, documenting, and preparing reports, organization charts, presentations documents, memos, letters, and other documents using Delta’s technology suite of tools.
      • Monitors and purchase office supplies using Delta’s supply chain resources.
      • Creates, submits, and reconciles expense reports and invoice statements.
      • Welcomes visitors and callers with Delta Brand Attributes and ensures their requests are followed-up upon by researching with the proper team members; prepares responses to written correspondence having routine and sometimes complex inquiries.
      • Coordinates details and participates in event planning and execution, for direct team and IFS initiatives, including meeting details, A/V conference set-up, conference rooms, presentation and materials preparation, catering coordination, venue layouts, etc.
      • Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail are equally important.

      What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

      • Proven experience as a team player, experience with completing various tasks on-time with high quality.
      • Highly responsible, advanced in multitasking and can manage multiple high-level projects; ensure project tasks are completed promptly and with a high degree of quality.
      • Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles and role model Delta’s values.
      • Possess advanced computer skills in Microsoft Outlook and strong working knowledge of Windows-based applications.
      • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and diplomacy.
      • Maintain professionalism and business maturity when faced with demanding situations and able to find solutions.
      • Must be team-oriented and able to coordinate activities across multiple departments working closely with administrative assistants in other areas.
      • Must be a self-starter and proactive, resourceful, flexible, and efficient, strong quality mindset.
      • Have the necessary skills to effectively write business correspondence.
      • Must be able to apply attention to detail to ensure accuracy achieve deadlines.
      • Must have the ability to coordinate the schedules of multiple aspects of projects and leader calendars.
      • Must have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization including executive levels.
      • Must be performing satisfactorily in present position.

      What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

      • Robust administrative assistant experience.
      • Previous In-Flight Service experience.
      • Functional knowledge of IFS team management tools such as MyTeam, DBMS (Data Base Management System), MSS (Managers Self Service).
      • Experience in corporate expense and travel management policy and procedures.
