Manage varied administrative tasks/requests from sales/service/management for Diagnostics and Life Sciences businesses, including but not limited to greeting visitors, incoming/outgoing mail; ordering office supplies; matching outgoing cheques with back-up documents; filing; logging incoming cheques and Purolator shipments; employee work support letters; entering invoices for payment.
Preparing supplier purchase orders; managing service provider and material supplier files; completing supplier annual risk assessment; obtaining supplier quality certificates; updating/creating supplier information with vendor management.
Preparing monthly fleet billings for payment; working with travel agency to book customer travel; collecting and reporting monthly EHS Energy consumption data.
High School degree or equivalent with multiple years of administrative experience and excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications and SharePoint software.
Highly organized and capable of prioritizing and managing multiple projects/tasks. Ability to work independently and take initiative while supporting a busy team-oriented environment. Strong problem-solving skills and reasoning to quickly follow-up and solve administrative issues.
Excellent English language skills and proficiency in speaking and writing.
Bilingual proficiency orally/written in English/French.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, attention to detail, proactive and solution oriented with a positive “Can Do Approach” attitude.

The Administrative Assistant for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for providing administrative services to individuals and departments and supporting organizational initiatives.
This position is part of the Administrative Services department located in Mississauga, ON and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $65,000 CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
