      As the Administrative Assistant you will be supporting day-to-day office functions while utilizing the most efficient methods ensuring that all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

      Responsible for:

        • Assisting lower-level administrators in reconciling PO’s to ensure proper receiving and invoicing has occurred.
        • Assisting plant personnel and various departments by reviewing data and completing an analysis on what course of action should be taken regarding a purchase, invoice, or revision.
        • Running reports and posting in a centralized file for the team to work on, as directed by supervisor or Manager.
        • Assisting in auditing reports to further understanding of a process.
        • Assisting in testing reports and process’ to streamline.
        • Assisting in creating handbooks for our “admin bootcamp” to train new administrative assistants for all plant areas.
        • Maintaining phone list and emergency roster
        • Maintaining and administering the plant petty cash fund, if applicable
        • Assisting in training lower-level administrators in all process and procedures
        • Participating in research efforts including collection, assembly and tabulation of data
        • Providing backup to other administrative positions as needed
        • Maintaining records of plant files
        • Performing routine clerical duties, pertinent to the administrative position.

      Ability to:

        • Review budgets and determine cost overruns
        • Troubleshoot errors that lower-level administrators receive in Ormat’s operating system.
      • Must maintain current knowledge and understanding of applicable company policies and programs
      • Must be able to work occasional overtime as required
      • Perform other duties and administrative tasks as assigned
