Have a HS Diploma or equivalent with 6 or more years of administrative experience.

Are highly proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Power Point, and Excel and flexible to learn new applications as needed.

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision or in a team environment.

Have excellent organizational skills and can work in a dynamic environment to coordinate and prioritize various diverse activities to meet critical deadlines.

Demonstrate ability to handle confidential information appropriately and interact effectively with all levels of personnel.

Where the chemistry happens…
As an Administrative Assistant in our Agricultural Solutions business, you will have a meaningful career while supporting BASF’s Vice President of Regulatory and Stewardship, Seeds and Traits and the Stewardship group which supports our Seeds and Traits business globally. As an Administrative Assistant you will have full day to day autonomy on prioritizing tasks to complete all of them without missing deadlines, as well as holding the responsibility and autonomy for aspects of creation of training materials once provided technical information.
During your time as a Administrative Assistant, you will
• Develop training materials for Directives and other documents via Power Point or other suitable formats.
• Coordinate meetings including arrangement of agenda, scheduling guests as needed, logistical and technical support, taking minutes and action items, and keep standing meeting calendars.
• Participate in cross-functional working groups (e.g. Incident Management core Team) and arrange meetings including logistics, take minutes and actions, coordinate in-person workshops and participate as needed.
• Pay invoices and create purchase orders in SAP in a timely manner.
• Make travel arrangements and complete expense reports.
• Handle needs of the team (new hire onboarding, order office supplies, etc.) and manage projects or special requests in addition to daily responsibilities.If you...
