      Administrative Assistant

      We are seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to join the finance department of a local insurance company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the credit and collections team and will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks.

      Responsibilities

      • Support the credit and collections team.
      • Conduct written and verbal communications with attorneys and auditors.
      • Answer and manage phone calls and emails.
      • Maintain files and manage databases.
      • Perform data entry and other clerical tasks.
      • Send out reminders to remit audits.

      Essential Skills

      • Administrative support

      • Data entry
      • Front desk management
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
      • 1+ years of administrative experience
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Ability to perform Excel calculations

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Two years of equivalent work experience.
      • Attention to detail, self-motivation, professionalism, and strong organizational skills.
      • Ability to produce professional, grammatically correct, clear, and logical correspondences.
      • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new programs.
      • Strong written and oral communication skills.
      • Knowledge of business math and principles.

      Work Environment

      This position is within the finance department and involves reporting to the Finance Lead. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with an early leave at 4 pm on Fridays.       Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
