- Managing the Chair's calendar by coordinating meetings, appointments, and events; evaluate and prioritize requests to support scheduling recommendations for the Chair’s review
- Serving as the initial point of contact for constituent concerns and route inquiries to the appropriate staff or departments
- Planning public meetings, community forums, and special events in conjunction with the Chief of Staff
- Coordinating travel arrangements and logistics for official business
- Maintaining inventory of office supplies
- Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations as directed.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- At least 5 years of administrative experience, preferably in government or public service
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Retirement from the Virginia Retirement System (VRS)

The Chair At-Large for the Prince William Board of County Supervisors has an opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant with minimum five (5) years of office experience. Core responsibilities include: managing schedules, handling communications, coordinating travel, and assisting with special projects, often acting as a crucial point of contact for the Chair. You will also be expected to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm for 40hrs/wk. with flexibility required to work atypical hours to meet the demands of the job.
Hiring Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00/yr - commensurate with experience. In addition to great pay, we also offer great benefits including:
