What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide administrative support for the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Allergy and Immunology
- Assist with financial and contract/regulatory aspects of grants and clinical trials management
- Coordinate with pre-award/post-award staff for budget creation, submission, and management
- Manage travel expenses, purchase requests, and reimbursements for grants/contracts
- Oversee office operations and support specified faculty members with various administrative tasks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field plus two (2) years of administrative or grant support experience; or
- Associate's degree plus four (4) years of administrative or grant support experience; or
- High School diploma/GED plus six (6) years of administrative or grant support experience
- Proven experience in managing budgets and contracts for clinical trials and grants
- Strong organizational and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Workday or similar financial management systems
- Familiarity with research grant processes and regulations
- Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Background in healthcare or academic settings
