- Assist with querying, tracking and analyzing monthly forecast/actual budget data in MS Excel for LED Conversion Project. Help prepare monthly reports for Lighting cost centers for O&M, blankets, specifics, and other budgets; Investigate charges via SAP software. Assist the Construction Supervisory preparing the monthly and YTD budget explanations for the Department. Communicates with and gathers information from other departments to ensure that project schedules, budgets, and scope are tracked successfully. (25%)
- Performs administrative duties to support the Lighting management team and staff, such as composing and preparing complex correspondence and other specialized assignments. Creates documents, including organization charts, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, SharePoint sites and PowerPoint presentations. (20%)
- Maintains payroll for the department. Reviews time for errors and coordinates corrections and closeout to SAP, processes IBEW payroll according to bargaining unit contracts, updates the department on Payroll Department policies and procedures, and creates payroll reports for Management. (15%)
- Verifies, processes, and pays all invoices and check requests for the department. Coordinate invoicing activities with other departments (Legal, Energy Supply, Electric Delivery, Real Estate, etc.) and outside service providers as applicable. (15%) Responsible for the reporting related to the LED conversion project as it relates to conservation, material usage, and maintaining project dashboards. (15%)
- Performs any other duties as assigned by the Management staff, including Wire Down and Lighting Restoration efforts during storm assignment. (10%)

Shift: 8 Hr. X 5 DaysPOSITION CONCEPT
Under limited supervision, provide administrative and technical support to the Manager Lighting and all
employees and contractors in the Lighting Department. Perform a variety of administrative tasks
including SAP payroll, SAP/WorkPro/PCAD reporting, office supplies, providing financial analysis and
support for Management and monitoring, preparing and communicating on budgetary accounts monthly. Technical duties include support of cost and controls position and major project scheduling.
Support the organization throughout the project in addition to maintaining the SharePoint site and
document control.

RELATIONSHIPS
Key Internal:
Interfaces effectively with management and employees at all levels of the Company
and with external organizations (customers, vendors, agencies); daily contact with,
Customer Service, Engineering, Stores, and Financial Services.
Key External:
Will interface with customers, vendors such as engineering firms and contractors, and
public agencies as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Required: Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: Associate Degree is preferred and may be considered in lieu of up to 3 years of related
experience.
Related Experience
Required:
Minimum of 6 years of administrative work experience in a progressively more complex
work environment related to the Duties & Responsibilities of this position is required.
Related experience must consist of budget preparation, variance analysis, project
reforecasts, tracking of small to medium sized budgets and data extraction and reporting.
Preferred:
Experience in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting, or experience in operational
accounting and billing in an energy-related environment.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSA)
Required:
Must be self-motivated and possess strong analytical and project-related organizational
and planning skills to ensure the successful coordination of multiple priorities and
assignments. Must possess strong computer skills and a demonstrated proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Access. Capable of
learning SAP applications. Must possess the verbal and written communication skills
necessary to interface with both internal and external constituents.
Preferred:
Knowledge of T&D Operations and major departments within the Company or within an
electric utility environment. Knowledge of TEC’s client server work order system
(WorkPro), PragmaCad. The ability to develop budgets, cash flows, and project schedules
(Gantt charts) via TEC’s accounting and project control systems.
