      This is a Direct Hire Authority solicitation for Domestic Defense Industrial Base & Major Range and Test Facilities Base to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

      About the Position: Serve as an Administrative Support Assistant (OA) for Tooele Army Depot.

      Duties


      • Coordinate the full range of Physical and Urinalysis program actions to include the scheduling and tracking of physicals, coordinating and monitoring required Directorate urinalysis testing.
      • Responsible for inputting Directorate time and attendance and labor and production information under the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) system for the Director and approximately 150 employees.
      • Responsible for tracking the actions progress through to completion once assigned to the appropriate staff by the Director.
      • Provide information in response to inquiries. Use knowledge based on an understanding of the Directors basic policies and viewpoints to answer questions asked by supervisors, subordinates, and personnel in other divisions.
      • Establish, maintain, and revise files in connection with work under supervisor's control.
      • Responsible for the proper preparation, tracking, and final documentation of all Directorate hiring actions in accordance with Depot, JMC, and HQDA directives.

      Requirements


      • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
      • Qualified Typist (40 word per minute) is required.

      In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.       Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing administrative support in an office setting, maintaining files, utilizing office automation tools to complete assigned tasks. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04).

      OR

      Education: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.

      OR

      Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages.
