What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage both new and established adult patients referred for evaluation of sleep disorders
- Perform clinical assessments, order and interpret sleep studies, and initiate/manage PAP therapy
- Prescribe pharmacologic treatments and counsel patients on behavioral strategies to improve sleep quality
- Provide ongoing follow-up for sleep therapy compliance, patient education, and coordination with DME vendors
- Coordinate with inpatient services for complex sleep management or transition of care
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing
- Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License with prescriptive privileges
- License to practice as an RN in Washington State
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- BLS certification
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Licensure as a Physician's Assistant in the State of Washington
- National certification from a national certifying body (NCCPA)
- Eligible to receive hospital staff appointments for adjunct staff membership by the Organized Medical Staff
