What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Guide customers through the evaluation process to determine eligibility for the Ticket to Work program
- Handle inbound customer inquiries and manage case load through outbound calls
- Provide information about vocational services and assist customers in navigating complex government programs
- Maintain a dedicated workspace free from distractions to enhance customer interactions
- Collaborate with supervisors to enhance personal knowledge and professional skills
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience in a customer service-related field or two years of post-secondary education or higher
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while navigating multiple computer software programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must pass a federal background check, including fingerprinting
- High level of initiative and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a role related to customer service or vocational support
- Familiarity with government programs, particularly related to Social Security Disability
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a competitive work environment
