What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries regarding affordable housing compliance
- Conduct electronic reviews of applicant/resident files to ensure adherence to federal and state regulations
- Analyze potential risks to prevent compliance issues
- Provide thorough written communication regarding file deficiencies and necessary actions
- Facilitate effective communication with clients and internal teams to support compliance efforts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2 to 5 years of experience in affordable housing compliance, including certification auditing
- Working knowledge of LIHTC and HUD program requirements
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Demonstrated follow-up skills to ensure compliance plans are implemented effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in customer service within the affordable housing sector
- Familiarity with compliance training or educational programs
