      Responsibilities

      The Opportunity:

      • Achieve the supply of potato raw material according to the volume required by the business, guaranteeing the best quality, in the required time, at the optimal cost.
      • Planning and continuity of the agricultural strategy in the medium and long term to ensure supply by strengthening the current production areas, developing new suppliers and new production areas, continuing to develop and strengthen the seed reproduction program .
      • Strengthen the implementation of the Digitalization agenda
      • Planning, construction and guaranteed compliance with budgets, such as the annual AOP raw material purchase plan, MOH operating expense budget and administrative section.
      • Development of strategic suppliers, introduction and promotion of new profiles and guaranteeing long-term continuity and growth.
      • Evaluation and analysis of E2E processes, identifying improvement points associated with savings and productivity for the business.

      Your Impact:

      As Agro Manager your responsibilities would consist of

      • Achieve compliance with the potato supply plan, by strengthening farmers and current production areas and searching for and researching and developing new areas and new farmers.
      • Planning and execution of AOP and MOH budgets to achieve the optimal cost of raw materials, monitoring of purchase orders and accounting of raw material invoices, associated expenses and services.
      • Business analysis and development of projects to deliver productivity to the company.
      • Planning and execution of harvest logistics, for the direct supply of the factory.
      • Planning and execution of potato storage logistics, from the coordination of income, inventory management, quality controls, storage conditions, and outputs in external warehouses with storage and transportation providers.
      • Planning and execution of potato importation for processing, coordination with the supplier, internment process, temporary storage and local logistics.
      • Achieve the compliance of good practices and adequate management from the selection of varieties, during the complete trial phase to guarantee the best quality of potatoes for processing.
      • Review of production cost structures, annual negotiation with potato suppliers and follow-up on the preparation and signing of legal contracts.
      • Ensure compliance with the sustainability agenda, such as “SFP / IMS” “WUE” “GHG”, Regenerative Agriculture, Pollinator Program.

      Qualifications

      Who Are We Looking For?

      Education

      • Agricultural Engineer, agribusiness, agribusiness, with experience in similar positions.
      • Master's degree in business or postgraduate degree in agricultural sciences

      Experience

      • Knowledge in managing industrial processes, food processing plants and food safety.
      • Knowledge of business administration, agricultural business management, industrial operations, certification and sustainability programs, standards and quality controls.
      • Leadership skills, strategic thinking, intellectual curiosity, work team management, effective communication skills, problem-solving skills, responsibility, commitment, respect, etc.
      • Advanced English
