      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct comprehensive reviews of plans and specifications for compliance with air pollution control regulations
      - Process and review air pollution permit applications and draft necessary permits
      - Perform compliance inspections at permitted facilities and asbestos abatement projects
      - Respond to and investigate air pollution-related citizen concerns
      - Provide technical assistance to the regulated community and public regarding regulatory compliance

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree in environmental science, engineering, mathematics, chemistry, natural science, or a related field
      - Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) training in air pollution control and three years of experience in an environmental health field
      - Possession of a valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and automobile insurance
      - Strong mathematical skills for emission calculations using Excel
      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying policy and technical information

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in air pollution control or environmental compliance
      - Familiarity with Federal, State, and County environmental regulations
      - Previous work experience in a regulatory agency or related field
