      Aircraft Detailing Operations Manager - Seattle, WA

      Type - Full Time

      Pay - $75,000-$85,000 per year (based on experience) + PROFIT SHARING

      Shift - Open/flexible availability is desired (Monday to Sunday)

      Location - King County International Airport (BFI) as your base location and travel to surrounding Immaculate Flight locations with the use of a company vehicle

      Summary

      The operations manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the location, ensuring safety compliance, quality control, execution of standard operating procedures, and implementation of the organization’s mission and talent strategy. The operations manager will partner with the location’s Regional Manager to ensure successful and efficient work of the team to meet customer detailing requests.

      Essential Functions

      Quality Control & Assurance

      • Ensure all aircraft are detailed to Immaculate Flight standards.

      • Monitor with a continuous improvement attitude geared towards efficient work targeting company standard labor hours.

      • Review daily schedule, set-up, and safety standards for crews.

      • Oversee fleet maintenance and monthly audits.

      • Responsible for purchase orders, requisitions, consolidated delivery forms, inventory and equipment request forms for the location.

      • Accountable for your location’s monthly score and scorecard associated with Operational metrics.

      • Conduct regular quality and safety audits with the team and/or Regional Manager.

      • Identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions to streamline operations.

      • Perform regular equipment audits to ensure safety and functional equipment for the location.

      • Coordinate work schedule with Regional Manager and clients.

      Workforce Development & Training

      • Coordinate and review “on the job” training programs for new employees with the Training Department.

      • Support and train Supervisors, Leads and Detailers on proper work procedures and safety standards according to the organization’s guidelines.

      • Attend and coordinate weekly department team meetings, and weekly operations meetings to provide status reports on the location for review and discussion.

      • Monitor detailing job progress for quality and completion and provide input to assist when necessary.

      • Review and approve timesheets daily for completeness and accuracy.

      • Complete daily operations report for the location.

      • Responsible for maintaining badging access for company and employees.

      • Monitor locations needs for staffing and recruitment and partner with human resources proactively to fulfill location needs.

      • Address any performance improvement modifications, including disciplinary action and coordinate needs with human resources department.

      Financial Acumen

      • Partner with your location’s Regional Manager to ensure supply and demand are identified, planned for, and executed to ensure client satisfaction.

      • Maintain cost per job ratio to company target.

      • Responsible for all payroll activities for the locations team members.

      • Collaborate with Regional Manager to review monthly P&L statements and scorecard to identify areas for improvement.

      Required Skills and Behaviors

      • Must be an outstanding communicator.

      • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects.

      • High level of interpersonal and verbal communication.

      • Proficient at all detailing services available within Immaculate Flight.

      • People management and oversight of a remote location.

      Required Education / Experience

      • 2+ years operations experience (internal preferred)

      • 2+ years of experience in aviation detailing, preferably with general aviation.

      • 2+ years people management (preferred)

      Organizational Structure

      • Reports directly to Regional Manager

      Travel Requirements

      • While most of your work can and will be accomplished in your base location, you can expect to spend 0-5 days per month traveling to Immaculate Flight locations.

      • 0% to 15% travel

      Physical & Vision Requirements

      This role involves a variety of physical activities and environmental exposures, including but not limited to:

      • Lifting objects up to 50 pounds

      • Standing and walking for extended periods

      • Pushing, pulling, and using hands for grasping and reaching

      • Working at elevated heights

      • Bending, stretching, squatting, and kneeling

      • Exposure to varying weather conditions

      • Handling moderate to high noise levels

      • Exposure to biohazard and/or approved chemicals

      • Repetitive movements involving arms, wrists, hands, and fingers

      • Close and distance vision

      • Peripheral vision and depth perception
