What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and oversee detailed design of airport infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, and utilities
- Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout project phases
- Prepare construction plans and specifications while managing project estimation and budgeting
- Collaborate with Professional Engineers and Project Managers on project scopes and schedules
- Stay updated on industry standards and innovative airport design procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline
- Professional Engineer license in the State of Texas or ability to obtain within six months of hire
- Proven experience managing airport design and construction projects
- Experience leading cross-functional teams from concept to completion
- Must reside in the state of Texas
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Ten (10) years of experience leading complex airport, FAA, and TXDOT projects
- Proven experience in proposal writing and client management
- Ability to develop new business opportunities and win project proposals
