- Educate patients on allergy testing, immunotherapy options, and insurance coverage.
- Communicate financial details and counsel patients on their accounts and payments.
- Pre-certify services, obtain authorizations, and coordinate allergy appointments.
- Schedule surgeries, preoperative appointments, and coordinate with staff, hospitals, and patients.
- Verify insurance, assist patients with financial options, and ensure proper documentation.
- Handle physician schedules while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 2+ years in medical administration or a healthcare office preferred; surgery scheduling experience is a plus.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with team members.
