      Join Our Team as an Allergy Benefits Coordinator & Surgery Scheduler!

      Are you a detail-oriented, patient-focused professional passionate about healthcare coordination? Charleston ENT & Allergy is looking for an Allergy Benefits Coordinator who will also assist in Surgery Scheduling. This dual-role position plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth patient care and providing support to our dedicated team of physicians.

      Key Responsibilities

      As an Allergy Benefits Coordinator, you will:
      • Educate patients on allergy testing, immunotherapy options, and insurance coverage.
      • Communicate financial details and counsel patients on their accounts and payments.
      • Pre-certify services, obtain authorizations, and coordinate allergy appointments.

      As part of the Surgery Scheduling Team, you will:
      • Schedule surgeries, preoperative appointments, and coordinate with staff, hospitals, and patients.
      • Verify insurance, assist patients with financial options, and ensure proper documentation.
      • Handle physician schedules while maintaining excellent patient care standards.

      Qualifications
      • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
      • Experience: 2+ years in medical administration or a healthcare office preferred; surgery scheduling experience is a plus.
      • Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with team members.
