What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the management of third-party monitoring programs, ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory standards
- Conduct risk and control assessments and facilitate discussions to identify key risks within business areas
- Manage partner escalations related to consumer complaints, documenting findings and preparing summaries for senior management
- Oversee the ERO audit program during tax season, coordinating with tax preparers to gather necessary documentation
- Develop proficiency in federal and state regulations to ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in third-party relationship management and understanding of legal, operations, and finance/banking policies
- High professional integrity in handling confidential and proprietary data
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with all corporate levels, including Executive/C-Level
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in risk management or compliance roles within the financial services industry
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with effective time management skills
- Familiarity with federal regulations such as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA)
