      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Function as the Alternate Assessment Psychometrician for Michigan's alternate assessments (MI-Access)
      - Develop and implement psychometric procedures and research to ensure measurement quality for state assessments
      - Coordinate all psychometric, statistical, and accountability-related deliverables for MI-Access
      - Administer and report on assessment programs while maintaining content standards
      - Respond to assessment and accountability reports and state analysis requests

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Doctorate degree (PhD/EdD) in school psychology, educational psychology, psychometrics, or a related field with specific coursework in quantitative research
      - Four years of post-master's consultative or administrative experience in educational research or psychometric analysis
      - Experience in educational measurement and/or psychometrics
      - Strong analytical skills and proficiency in advanced statistical research methods
      - Excellent communication and collaboration skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with statewide testing programs or educational testing
      - Familiarity with the development and maintenance of content standards
      - Background in operating assessment systems and data management
      - Previous work with diverse educational stakeholders and policy-makers
