ALTERNATIVE ED ASSISTANTMinimum Requirements
Two years of study at an institution of higher education; or an Associate’s degree (or higher); or demonstrate through a formal State or local academic assessment (ParaPro Assessment) knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instruction, reading, writing and mathematics, as appropriate and knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing, reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness, as appropriate.
