What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a claims subject matter expert, conducting research and analysis to address high-priority claims inquiries
- Manage and lead complex claims projects initiated by internal teams or external inquiries
- Identify and remediate claims processing issues to reduce rework
- Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to define claims requirements and improve processing efficiency
- Interpret and present in-depth analysis of claims research findings to leadership and operations teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 3 years of medical claims processing experience or equivalent education and experience
- Experience with medical claims processing across multiple states, markets, and claim types
- Knowledge of claims processing related to Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace programs
- Strong data research and analysis skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in healthcare claims analysis
- Project management experience
