Builds operational and analytical reports to track the workforce and its movements, with the aim to provide strategic insight into the current workforce profile across Ontario Health.
Participates in workforce demographic analysis to outline risks, impacts, issues, trends, and projections to support the assessment of current and future capacity.
Performs quantitative and qualitative analysis on existing and proposed human resource programs, including analyzing compensation trends, employee engagement and other key drivers.
Supports the analysis of key performance indicators to make concise recommendations on needs for realtime actions and optimizations (e.g. turnover, talent acquisition and retention, absenteeism, health and safety, wellness etc.)
Conduct HR data mining and analyze the data to deliver meaningful metrics, measurements and reports
Responsible for following up on various HR initiatives (such as succession planning, talent profiles, employee engagement, stay factors etc.) analyzing and reporting on the results and communicating trends to stakeholders of various levels
Assists in the creation of detailed cross-functional and interactive divisional dashboards and work plans with critical milestones to deliver new reports, processes, and tools
Generates scheduled reports to support the HR organization
Delivers quantitative and qualitative data analysis and customer service to various departmental stakeholders on a weekly and monthly basis, as well as annual reports
Assist in the creation of presentations to present the analysis of results and telling a story on monthly and ad hoc basis to senior management.
Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis, as required.
Perform cross functional and other duties as assigned and/or requested
University degree in an analytical field of study (e.g. Human Resources, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or other relevant fields)
2+ years of work experience directly related to quantitative analysis with proven results
Experience leveraging various data visualization tools and technologies
Expert Excel skills with Power Query
Solid working knowledge of human resource data, statistical modelling, predictive modelling, data visualization and storytelling, and decision-making science.
Experience with Workday is preferred
Superb problem-solving, storytelling and consulting skills to not only manipulate data but also derive meaningful interpretations from data and ability to articulate in a simple and impactful way
Excellent communication, interpersonal and client-servicing skills
Ability to take initiative, work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Ability to liaise with all levels across the enterprise and foster strong business relationships
Attention to details, analytical, critical thinking skills
Strong team player and demonstrated ability to work independently

The Analyst, Human Resources will be supporting the development and delivery of strategic human resource analytics to empower Ontario Health’s organizational decisions regarding talent, compensation, organizational development, and workforce planning. This role will analyze robust reports, providing data modelling and interpretation to enable workforce plans to support Ontario Health’s people and organizational strategy.
