What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to enhance backhaul and logistics income in a specific geographic area
- Negotiate freight rates with carriers and implement programs to manage and evaluate line-haul carriers
- Prepare and approve carrier bills while resolving complaints and coordinating activities across departments
- Maintain consistent communication with various departments to ensure smooth operations
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively to meet deadlines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be local; this position is not remote
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in Logistics or a related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
