What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Gather and analyze user needs for developing and modifying clinical or business applications in the healthcare environment
- Provide complex application support and write documentation and specifications
- Analyze complex results and propose solutions and/or recommendations
- Build, configure, and/or modify applications using existing application tools
- Teach analysis and problem-solving principles to IT staff and end users
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in a health, science, or business field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in information applications, including one year in programming or applications analysis
- Epic Certification is required; Epic Radiant is preferred
- Experience working in a healthcare environment is preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Additional certifications related to healthcare applications
- Experience in teaching application functionality and design standards
- Familiarity with problem analysis, hardware/software configurations, and application integration
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work with diverse teams
